The Birdiest Festival in America is a new festival, which commenced last year in April. This event is sponsored by the South Texas Botanical Gardens. Art Lopez Design branded the festival by first creating a logo, which represented a bird in flight with the American flag colors to represent the birdiest city in the Unites States. Corpus Christi has been named the birdiest city in the U.S. for the past 10 consecutive years, and counting. After establishing the look of the logo, an extended amount of research went into finding out where birds were located, then a brochure was created with a detailed map for birders to be able to locate certain bird species based on the findings of the research. Two different maps were also created; one with a natural background and the other with a vectored background to place in schools. Additional interaction items: Hats for adults and kids.
